Checkers And Chess

There was me...and you, truth be told you played fool to a game well known. 

Checker player double jumping a chess board in which I owned. 

Too sophisticated for those quick feelings. 

So I strategically move knight to corner you. My queen. 

While the checkmate is imminent, the distraction is laid. 

Stolen your heart I have and King Me I say. 

Or let it end swift over knight, the queen will lay. 

Either way I will be left standing in proclamation 'the best'. 

For I will not lose my dignity, 

But love...just one big game...Checkers and Chess.

UPDATE

It may take long
But Ill prove ‘em wrong
Destiny is calling,

Eat rhymes and gimmicks
To equate a huge hunger
Now got enough power
Too crack the ice tundra

Living in a shell
Your rhymes are completely hollow
That’s air you spittin with  no flight
Can you follow?

Excuse me while I laugh
But with no smile
No smirk

Not look or a pause
I explode in my lonesome
I laced these words through you
Shame you
Then hold your pride up for ransom

And self proclamation?
Could get you laid to rest

You want it?
I’m not talking guns or knives
Explosives, or fights
But rather paranoid nights

Where are the best ?
They beneath the dirt
But without the cherish work
That lives forever on this Earth

So how dare you declare "the best"
Neglecting those whose words live on but vessels digress

Book work

I am currently working on a realistic fiction novel that has been taking up my time and attention.
