Blind Leap

I am giving you the proof
How low must I stoop
To prove any further that I am here
What must I do?
Should I go back to the future?
Where I see happiness and solidity
Serenity and the key was you and me?
What if time were measures of length?
Take a leap of faith, praise your strength
Now is a time to listen as I admire you openly
In the airwaves, internet, telegrams,
Whether now or tomorrows AM
These words stretched far and wide to reach your ears
If friendship is a destiny, then makeshift a story
Fit it where it needs to be.
Give up never, I AM THE DEFINITION
And they say I am the leader of the free world endeavors
Never fearing to go beyond what is proven to seem impossible
Overcoming obstacles such as time.
Distracting the thing we call fate with rhymes that act as mimes
So that I may act out the actions that will turn diamonds from grime.
Keep flexing your thickened exterior, while your insides soften
I'll be waiting to fill her
Not simply sexually but intellectually binding, emotionally blinding
I still navigate to your heart without GPS
I simply am just residing late to the signal screaming distress
But a guess...would say... even if another came to save the day
I copied the key long ago...when your ready...your heart is where I stay.

X's And O's (Part 1 Free Write)

So many times I brought roses,
In support of girls who I gave my heart to hold.

Foolish to send the emails that broke my feelings into rhythmic detail.

Mr. warm body now an interlude to a cold day in hell, there’s a reason hearts yell... but mouths never tell.
Toast to the One who made me believe, and two times for the eX who found me. Third is a charm, so when you take my arm it is with the power of God we brave these storms.
It is with his grace we enjoy the sunshine, dance in the rain, and in vein scream each other’s names with smiles so benign.
You see, it should have been She...
but She closed the blinds on my world, I could not see, blinded,
Till you guided me with your heartbeat...crossed the bridge, and gave me reason to see. Baby...I will not release the words that has so long cursed me...but I will in every way say

143.

Destiny

Her love for poetry is emotional
The arts are simply her story untold
If these words creep into the depth of her soul
Who am I to know?
She would never let it show,
In life's reality she is an enigma
Like myself I see her persona as a stigma
In a world cold with judgements
Her uniqueness is a social annulment
It is the words she will come to grow with
The picture will bless her with a kiss
And in ignorant bliss
Be the depth she falls in love with...
The Arts are simply her story untold
Her love for poetry is exceptional
More than any addiction defined by medical
These passions lie dormant
Waiting for words spoken
Deeply awoken,
By a sculpture she will come to make love to
Stanzas she will marry to,
And play cool with rhyme schemes she can finally listen to
The arts ...are her story waiting to unfold
And her love for poetry...will be her destiny.

Dark Chocolate

My black beauty
Dark chocolate truffle I call her
Filling unknown.
Your truancy is my falter and I ..
Could never diet when we are alone.

See you...you are a skaters rink
The fat boys cake
The alcoholics drink
And the antonym of fake...
I'm inclined to think our encounter was fate.

Staring you down, but respecting your temple
Our engagement is strictly mental
And you...enlarge my lymph nodes
Sick I am with over indulgence of your black tones.

Sweet I say.
Craving to have a taste if I may.

Strawberries, oranges, grapes, divine fruits
On their ripest day, couldn't taste as sweet as you
Between the largest palm trees
The breeze couldn't blow cooler than you

And you...

Take me to new heights
Higher than the stars on cloudless nights
Grasping my heart with divine might!

Body of a goddess, I see no blasphemy
While infatuated with you, you lust for me
Lips dripping with curiosity
The integrity of a man you long seek
So for me? You wish to see

I aim to be everything you dream in your sleep
And when you wake, much more
I might not be what you need
But I AM what you been looking for

Sign me up for the season
I'm not just playing for the score
But I go hard and give plenty reason
Like a biggest fan to scream more, more!

This is just my foresight
Premonitions from a fantasy
If only I may try
I'd pay by giving all of me.

Suicidal War

How do I feel?
How or should be what?
The feeling I feel should erupt
So overwhelming it's surreal

Pain and misery
It's a rush no creep
Pulling me down slowly
Into the water so deep

It's gloomy, dark
So much depth around me
But I feel closed in a box
Not ordinary texture, but one made of bark

I scratch at it
Begging to be free
But my nails wear down
No one there to help me

So I drown in my lonesome
The little spec in the distance
Is the happiness burning off a shining sun
Tried to reach, but sadness overwhelms persistence

So down
Down, down
I fall
No return

As I sink lower
The cold clings to my skin
But inside my heart burns
Because the war will never end

Agonizing war I say
Like Persia and Rome in present day
Strike my heart with 2 ft. Swords
I question myself, can I take much more?

It hurts
Hurts so bad
Relief from the wounded flesh
Happiness brings anew so I may feel refreshed

But what happens when joy has lost
Depression is that state, I know
I feel as if I've sunken too low
Somewhere no human being could go

Wounds to the heart never heal
A river flows many ways from where the blood spills
Chest gets cold, brain release the feeling you cant hide
Because you've truly died inside

Mind and body
Coincide as one
So when the mind dies
The body has soon begun

Muscles tense and grow weak
Fact remains your young, but feel so elderly
Knees buckle, back cripples
You try to continue, but your strength is so little

You fall and can't get up
Agonizing but quiet pain creeps up
Torn like the paper you tear
Your last breath is but another riffle in the air

But still I am here
Wounded and torn
Pain, misery, inside cries
Mind and body at times, may seem to die

My face has become worn
From the many emotions it hides
The flame in my soul continues to burn
With it depression can wound, but the war I survive
